We all deal with difficulties in our lives and to be able to help others in their time of need is important to everyone here at Financial Coach. Our team members commit to volunteering for various charitable organizations throughout the year. Often, whether working alongside us for a day of giving back through hands-on volunteer work with Habitat for Humanity, donating to fundraising and toy-drive efforts benefiting Toys for Tots, or participating in local 5K Runs raising awareness for important issues, the Financial Coach team is blessed to have the support of so many of our clients who regularly join us in our efforts.

Chester County Food Bank 2/8/19 Volunteer Work

On Friday, February 8th, a group of Financial Coach clients joined our team in volunteering at the Chester County Food Bank where we made over 600 1lb bags of soup and packaged over 700 weekend backpack bags for children in need of food for the weekend.

We wanted to take the opportunity to thank all of those who were able to join us as well as those unable to register.  We found it to be an awesome and rewarding experience.  Lauren Van Dyk, the volunteer coordinator for the Food Bank, gave us an introductory talk to make us aware of how important their work in our community really is.  It was enlightening and rattling at the same time.  The amount of elderly and children in our area that do not know where their next meal is coming from is staggering.

Pictures from our February 8th volunteer work with the Chester County Food Bank are shown below.  Thank you again to those who volunteered!
